In 2018, the NHS reported a concerning increase in alcohol-induced hospital admissions in the UK, reaching 1.3 million cases, representing an 8% rise from the previous year. Additionally, drug-related mental and behavioral disorders led to 7,376 hospital admissions, while 18,053 individuals were admitted due to poisoning from drug misuse.
Upon completing our Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness course, your staff will gain insights into the detrimental effects of alcohol abuse. They will also develop the ability to recognize various types of drugs and understand the repercussions of drug abuse.
